Los Angeles

The story was
of a girl who prayed for years,
fasted weeks on end.
Then returned and found the city
was not her friend.
She weathered the storm
and returned thrice.
Then the heavens,
were opened to her,
and so were her eyes.
She sees glory and the angels
write her story.

Jesus enters on a colt,
will we understand him
when he speaks a word to us?
I will I hope.
